Why we love Farmaesthetics® Sweet Milk Exfoliates?
Dried sweet milk contains natural lactic acid (an AHA) for brightening the skin & removing dead skin cells. The milk also contains carbs & fats that feed & nourish the skin. We talk a lot about balance in holistic esthetics, and feeding the skin (with the milk + fats) while taking away from it (i.e. exfoliating), is a fully balanced approach to exfoliating—and your skin will be all the better for it.
Lactic acid is a slowly penetrating Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which means it's perfect for at-home use. Once you apply the exfoliate, you have time to play with—no rush to remove the exfoliate within 30 seconds to a minute to prevent irritation like some AHAs. Lactic acid is simply easier, and no less effective.
Yellow cornmeal offers a gentle mechanical exfoliation so the lactic acid + yellow cornmeal means you're getting both a chemical + mechanical exfoliation! (Chemical + mechanical are the two types of exfoliates.)

Lavender Buds, an incredibly versatile flower, is an antioxidant, antibacterial, antiseptic, & anti-fungal, and restores balance to the skin & encourages relaxation to the mind.
Chamomile Flowers offers the most sensitive complexions the chance for a brightening, yet calming, exfoliation.
Orange Peel contains citric acid (another AHA) to peel away dead skin cells, address dull skin, open clogged pores. Because of citric acid's high concentration of antioxidants, the Sweet Milk & Orange Peel Exfoliate is our choice for mature and/or active skin (with the exception of super sensitive conditions).
